8:00-11 AM - Pancake Breakfast Hosted by the Lions
The Hopkinton Lions Club will be serving a pancake breakfast on the Fourth of July from 8-11 a.m. at the Slusser Center, including sausage, fruit compote, and real maple syrup! The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for non-adults.

–  5K Race
The course is a 5K timed loop (plus or minus a few feet) that will start and finish at the Slusser Center at Houston Park.   Race day registrations are at 7:30am at Houston Park and the run begins at 8 am. Walkers welcome!  Hosted by the George Park Track Club.  There is no fee to race, but donations can be made.

11:00 AM – Canoe and Kayak Race
Pre-registration on site from 9:45 - 10:45 am at the end of Riverside Drive.  Cost is $15 per person (kids 15 and under race for free).  This is a 5 mile race that goes to Burnham Intervale and back.  A 1 mile youth race is also offered after the 5 mile race.  Course map is available at the registration booth.

11:30 AM – Kid’s Parade
Pre-registration at the gazebo is required and starts at 10:30 am.  Parade starts at 11:30 am and travels from the gazebo to the flag pole and back.

12:00 PM – Independence Day Parade
11:30 am - Line up at Hopkinton High School and proceed through Fountain Square towards Contoocook Village Cemetery.

12:30 PM – Family Fun Day at Houston Park 

Enjoy an afternoon filled with old-fashioned games and contests, dunk tank, a large silent auction, food, music, a dunk tank, balloonist, face painter, magician and the Tooky Cookie Bake-OffFamily Fun Day is Free and brought to you by the Hopkinton Rec Committee.

12:45 PM – Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem
At the Slusser Center

Tooky Cookie Bake-Off! 
Drop off cookies, recipe and entry form to the Slusser Center on July 4th from 9 am - noon.   Official rules and entry form can be found by clicking the link below.  Pre-register below; walk-ins also welcome!  Cookies are judged on Flavor, Appearance, Minimal Crumble Effect (it holds together), and Patriotic Design.  Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 places.  Registration form below!
