Spend the week in the outdoors exploring, learning, being active and having fun! Each of the 4 weeks will contain a variety of interesting activities for those who love to be outdoors.
Join us at Kimball Lake Cabins for hiking, kayaking, swimming, learning outdoor survival skills (fire building, shelter building, water filtering, etc.), orienteering and more! At the end of each week there will be a field trip to a State Park for hiking and swimming.
Each day camper MUST wear hiking footwear and clothing.
A HIKING BACKPACK NEEDS TO BE PACKED EVERY DAY with swim suit, towel, flip flops, sunscreen, bug spray, raincoat, plenty of water, snacks, and lunch.
Camp will start at the Putney Hill Cemetery on Thursday on week 1.
Camp will start at the Putney Hill Cemetery on Tuesday and Thursday for weeks 2-4. The camp counselor, Sean, will advise parents on Monday morning of anticipated changes due to weather.
Register by the week (camp will not be held on July 4th, so first week will only be 4 days). This camp is geared for kids ages 12-14.
Please note that campers will be exposed to campfires, kayaking with PFD's in Kimball Lake (not lifeguard staffed), and may use tools on occasion with supervision. Please only register your child if you are comfortable with their maturity level in handling those situations responsibly.
All campers need to submit a current physical and vaccination form before camp begins.
