Summer Chess Champs Camp

Chess Camp is coming to Hopkinton!  The Chess Wizards are an eclectic mix of educators with a passion for the game of chess and an ability to make the game fun for kids!  Their team uses modern teaching techniques, exciting activities, and a sense of humor to create an exciting classroom experience that brings the game of chess to life.  They create a safe, fun and friendly environment for our students; inspire lifelong learning, both on and off the chess board; build relationships and communities connected through the game of chess. 

At Chess Wizards, we’re proud of our success in making chess fun, exciting and accessible to students of all ages. As you already know, chess is a proven tool for enhancing children’s cognitive development and critical thinking skills. Our approach is particularly effective in inspiring a curiosity and interest in the game for our students in Kindergarten and 1st-grade.
 
For Kindergarteners, chess supports spatial awareness and executive functions, offering a playful way to grasp complex concepts. 1st graders, meanwhile, can refine their cognitive abilities and learn valuable life skills like patience and concentration. Introducing chess at this age can significantly complement their educational journey, fostering both academic and personal growth.

- Half-Day AM: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm 
- Half-Day PM: 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm 
- Full day: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm 


Price per child:
- Half Day: $250.00  
- Full Day: $350.00
