Better For You BBQ
Backyard barbeques are filled with rich delicious foods that bring us back to our childhood and help us reminisce those endless, blissful summer days. Here in New England, we especially cherish our outdoor get togethers given our long hibernation in winter. Traditional BBQs are filled with high fat meats, mayonnaise drenched salads, and corn dripping with butter. But there are plenty of delicious foods to be served at a BBQ that are also going to help you stay on track with your health goals! At my Better 4 U BBQ class I will share my tips for substitutions in summer salads, adding healthy oils and spices to marinades for meat and veggies to make everything taste delicious without the added saturated fats and sodium we are all trying to avoid.
